Give An Extra Hug Today

I'm on the air, doing my show when I get a phone call saying there has been a house explosion in the town I live in. My first reaction was 'where?' to ensure it wasn't my house that blew up. Then start to track down my wife. I was pretty sure she wasn't anywhere near the location of the house as her schedule she told me she was on wasn't going to include that area of town. After two hours I finally managed to get a hold of her. Turns out she was three houses from the explosion! She was very shaken and upset, but all-in-all, okay. No one was seriously injured in the explosion, which the officials are saying was likely caused by a natural gas leak. The school, which is less than a block away, was shut down to account for all the students, and people heard the blast from about four miles away. There is debris everywhere. Coupled with the anniversary of 9/11, this really made it close to home and made me realize you just never know. gs24sunshine Posts: 81 Joined: 2007/06/19	2007/09/15, 10:17 AM wow Tim glad everyones ok!!!And your right we never know.Makes us realize how quickly things can possibly be taken away from us all in a matter of secs.My son brandon had his best friend lose his brother a few mos ago,and it woke me up to how it could of been me losing a family member.Ill pass around a few extra hugs!!
