Woohoo! I actually have a progress update because I'm still actually doing something lol.
Well I finished my second week on the FT Weight Loss & Definition program. This is sadly the first time ever I have continued working out ON schedule without giving up (besides boot camp, can't really give up there lol), or had the intention of giving up.
I haven't been weighing myself or measuring my body fat at all, although I probably should be getting my BF%. However my goal so far is just to not quit. So far I feel much better and I seem to have MUCH more energy.
This is a big change for me in my life because I have been fighting (mostly losing) major depression and dysthymia for 4 or so years now, and I finally feel a lot better. Yay! I also stopped my medication about a month ago (I know thats a bad idea) and exercise has been a great way to deal with the chemical change.
Well, just wanted to let everyone know how I'm doing because I'm a little excited and proud of myself.
Thanks for listening to my little outburst lol.

Fantastic news bro! Depression is a tough one, and exercise is a key to aleviating it.
Great you are feeling so much better, and as proud as you are of yourself we here at FT are proud to be a small part of your success.

Congratulations Grunt!
Less then a year ago I was in the same boat as you...way out of shape, mentally and physically. Guess the biggest lesson I learned was getting in shape isn't any different then being out of shape...just the priorities and activities differ. Everyday when you wake use your prior days enthusiasim and lessons to push your mind and body to the next level. Eventually you'll wake up one day and do what you've trained them to do and you won't say words like "hopefully".
Basically it comes down to this. You can either "try" or you can "do"...the decision is up to you. Sounds like up till now you've been "doing"...no reason to "try" now.
My mind works in mysterious ways sometimes...I hope that made sense...it does to me.
Keep us posted!!
