I'm always curious as to what people are listening to when they work out. What is your favorite type of workout music?

Personally, I like hard rock with a lot of bass to really drive me when lifting and fast rock to push me during my cardio. An example is the soundtrack to the movie XXX with Vin Diesel.

I actually don't like working out to just music. I like it when there are other people around providing background noise; I don't know why, but when I go to the gym and it's completely empty I seem to not be into working out as much.

Disturbed, Slipknot, Soil, Rob Zombie, Mudvayne, Korn..... basically, anything super-intense.

Got to go with AC/DC, Jimi Hendrix, The doors, something that moves at least. Anyone ever been in these gyms where they have talk radio or elevator music. They had a radio on the other day and all they talked about was these abused, homeless, etc. kids. Now I have a heart, but when I am working out, I don't want to be crying!

I ususally go with hard rock to techno, and sometimes classical (Bond is a great classical band). All have a fast beat. They are great motivators.
