i am a 6ft4 male who weighs only 150 pounds. i am very skinny and find it hard to gain weight. i have aslo started lifting wights and eating more for about a year, but still didnt see any gains. can u give me any advice.

Wow, I thought it was nearly impossible to have a metabolism faster than mine, but you've got me beat. Since it is so fast, eat between 1 and 1.5 grams of protein per pound of bodyweight. You should also eat a lot of complex (low glycemic) carbs with every meal and before bed (oatmeal, wild rice, potatoes, pasta, etc). Many people say not to eat carbs before bed but I have found this advice to be mostly for those trying to lose weight; it works to my benefit big time. Better yet, eat constantly everyday - eat anything you can get your hands on at that time. Because your body is like a walking blast furnace, you will simply burn off many of the calories anyway, but eating will help. Train heavy and hard. Make sure you're giving your body enough rest on your recuperation days.

Wow imagine if we could all just eat all we want when we want it...... I do have a fast meatbolism as well, but I guess it's just because I cannot sit still for more than ten mins at time.
Yes, it's true when having an Ectomorphic body type, it can be difficult to gain weight (especially lean muscle mass) and it's true that you guys need a lot of calories to keep yourself going BUT don't eat just anything. Stay away from junk food and too many chocolate bars. Those will do you no good but give you love handles (and still no muscles).
Instead find some good weight gainers, eat lots of protein and energy bars and of course lots of milk products.
