neither each offers different angles but basicly does the same job....

Sorry they are both good exercises! The Dumbbells offer you are greater range of motion(ROM) and the barbell offers the abitlity to use more weight. I used to do Barbell but then Had to switch to Dumbbells. Have to say I like them both but the dumbell hits my front delts more so far than barbell did. of course this is most likely cause I never really did them before.:big_smile:

now with the range of motion does that allow for better development of the front delts?
also would it be ok to alternate each version?
2 weeks military presses
2 weeks db presses?

May not neccessarly develop them better, just allows you to work them deeper, if that makes any sense....I would do a DB routine for 4 weeks the do the BB.:dumbbell:
