wow iv been doing this for one week and im so shocked, the hardest bit is changing my diet, with the kids as well all i seem to hear is, dont like that, whats for desert, why cant you cook normal food.  Im now going to the gym every morning and come the evening im in the swimming pool, iv never liked fish but today made salmon parcels which were mouth watering, tomorrow is crab spagetti, my whole life seems so much better im not getting out of breath walking up the hill, (and anyone whos been to cornwall in the uk, will know there are no straight roads). and even walking up the stairs feels so much easier, i can honestly say im proud of myself.

I am sore after working out on monday but am still going to the gym today and going to work on cardio and lift in the muscle groups that do not hurt

Hi All,

I'm new to this site. I'm in Australia. I have lost 17kgs since september last year and aiming on losing about 10 more. Current weight is 73.5kgs (161.5 lbs). Height 172 cm (approx 5.7 ft). I am a member of a gym and see a personal trainer once a fortnight but I need more motivation and guidance on what exercises to do in between training sessions. I have already started up my exercise program on this site so I will see where I go from here. My last body fat % (about 6 weeks ago) was 46% (!!!!) WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too high! So my aim is to lose weight, tone up and build muscle mass. Easy right??!! I have a personal training session tonight and will begin my new training schedule tomorrow. I am also a member of another site where I log all my food and my weigh in day on there is Friday so I will make it the same here. I have recently set a date for my wedding which is in 11 months so hopefully I can achieve my goal by then and manage to keep it that way for good!!!

Goal 135

Lost another 2.4 lbs and 4.75 inches (thank you tape mesure!)
Not out of the 180's yet...  There's always next week!  Just keep going foward!

Hello, I just started on this site... In hope it helps me keep track and modivated. I've been working on excercising not so regularly but I have been trying for a long time. I'm 17 yrs old,  5'4" girl that weights today 357lbs. I'm planning on doing yoga, some home excercises and my mother recently bought me a treadmill. So thats my plan so far. My short term goal.... well I guess long term goal is my 240lbs I had stayed at since elementary... until recently... I don't know why and neithier does the dctors I go to. But I'm going to attempt to prove I can lose it even though they say I am not able. Eventually I'd love to be a nomal weight and get one size lower that my smallest pant size of 16. I'd love to weight 180. So here I go onto the treadmill. Wish me luck.

a great trick for the treadmill is to put you favourite music on and do as much as you can, i know when you first start and you dont feel like you can do a lot and its seems to take all your time, but you'll get better and better.  if some days your feeling a big sluggish and dont fancy jogging on the treadmill, when watching a tv program, walk on the treadmill and incline it so you feel liek you walking up-hill.  30 mins of that is just as effective as running.....

The support on here is amazing and I wish to extend that you as many other users as I possible.  Everyone is doing a great job (even is you feel thats not the case) and login on here and reaching out to people in the same boat helps to make the journey easier.

I seem to have hit a plateau    Weight 164lbs

I'm feeling slightly deflated after all my hard work these last few weeks, but I am going to plough through regardless especially as working out does lift my spirits.

Hi I am a new member.  I am 27 and I have a busy job. My weight has fluctuated a lot over the years, and I am not happy with where it is right now.  I am looking forward to feeling better about my looks and having more energy.  I would like to lose about 25lbs, and to fit into my old jeans!

still stuck between 139-141...

I'm trying to stay positive and remember that at least I'm not back at 189-190. I have maintained some weightloss since 2009.


I been walking at least 4 miles everday, but lately on the weekends I been eating out too much. I'm hoping to get back on track with my food intake. I added weightlifting while I walk.

Oh my gosh... I'm so excited I weight 320 pounds!!!! I was 357. I lost 37 pounds in a week. Okay something was missing out of my lifestyle haha. Going outside again... today I'm going to bike. My goal is to get my weight under control I really don't care if it's 180 or 220 but as long as I am feeling better about myself and my lifestyle I'm sticking to it.

i am 215 pounds, the worse i have ever been.. and i am feeling worst.. joined this site in hopes of maybe getting some motivation and finding a work-out partner who would push me into keeping a routine that i believe i should maintain..

I finally got to 138... I think I have been between 142 and 139.5 for weeks. The only thing I did different is that I watched my food intake more carefully and I let my body rest for 2 days. I was walking 4-5  miles almost on a daily basis.

weight-138

goal- 129. I just want to see a 2 in the tens digit even if is 129.9

ok so its been one week since i've weighed myself unfortunately i've only went down one pound from my weight since starting so i'm now 237.4 kinda upset that i'm working so hard and not really losing the weight but I hope i'll get there with all the work i'm putting into it.

since i got married i have become over 200 lbs.  in the past year i have become a volunteer firefighter and going to school to become a paramedic.i crave sodas and candy all the time it seems so hard to get away from them. i dont seem to have the motivation to lose weight by myself and cant find anyone to work out with me.it is so aggervating everyone wants to critize me for my weight but noone seems to want to help me get control .

I lost 37 pounds and now i'm staying at 350 pounds.... i don't know what i'm doing wrong. Kinda disappointed that i didn't change even 1 pound :/

Hello all, I am danielle or Dani for short. I started working out a few months ago, fell out of it, even after having great success. Im back now with a vengance and am really serious about losing 100 lbs. I am at 288lbs right now and started back to my gym today. Hello All! I'm Dani, a 21 year old college student. I live in Wisconsin with my roommate and her 10 month old son. I'm looking to get in better shape because I was a dancer and lost some of my fitness due to a recent back injury. As my back is healing, I want to get back into "Dance Shape" so i can go back to classes! I also just want to feel better in my own skin. 
I can't do a weigh in today because I don't have a scale, but I know that i have some work to do! I started using my FLog this morning and i'm hoping that I can get toned up and ready for dance class this fall!

Still hanging at around 137 only 2 pounds to go. Lost 1.5 inches too. Got to say I do sooooo much better on the days I can work outside.

Hey, i decided to join to help give me motivation. my starting weight is 174lbs, and i want to go down to 130, i know it will take a while, my plan is to stop snacking! and start excersising again, i hope this helps to motivate me and i hope everyone else is doing well!

hey everyone im am 21 years old and i have a 2 year old and have decided to put the past behind me and live for myself and my daughter. my starting weight is 189 and i want to get down to 130 in order to have a healthy weight according to my height. im hoping that being in this group will help me achieve what i want to do. hope everyone else is doing great :)

---Hi, I have just joined. I have weighed myself today and am pleased to say i have lost 5lbs ina week, i have a long way to go, like 5 stone more to go. I am currently 17.7lb, and disgusted with myself. I lost 4 stone a couple of years ago, after a nissan op. So i know i can do it.

Hi.  I am a 20 year old Female.  I have stopped playing a sport that I have played my whole life and gained some College weight.  I want to take it off now while I still have youth on my side.  I don't have an exact amount I would like to lose I just want to feel comfortable in my body again.  I think I would feel comfortable once I lose 10 to 20 pounds but ideally I would lose 30 or more. I just joined and have not weighed myself yet but i'm thinking it is around 180. I will get a more exact number tomorrow since it's 4 am my time and I still haven't slept tonight.  The main reason I wanted to join this group is I think that posting my weight on a weekly basis will make me work harder and be accountably for what I eat and how hard I work out. So lets hope posting and being apart of a group on here helps!
