I have increased my protein intake to 200 grams a day and i am finding it very difficult to use the restroom. I am getting all the fiber and everything else i need. I have been drinking about 4 8oz glasses of milk a day do you think this may be the cause of this ridicoulous problem. I really want to get my required protein, but i would like to be able to use the restroom. I would really appreciate some advice. I am taking whey protein also.

Fiber is not your only concern when it comes to regularity. One thing alot of people forget about is water. You must be consuming at least 4 liters (about 16 glasses) a day. Also, try having some digestive aiding products along with your day, like active culture yogurt, or bromolain.
By the way, your fiber requirement must be higher than the usual RDA.
Hope that helps............Michael

Milk by itself should actually give the opposite effect if you drink a lot of it. Must be something else in your diet...or lack thereof. Also, when you consume a lot of protein, this should give you reason enough to go.
If it becomes more of a problem, it could be medically related. Have you seen your doc lately? Laxatives once in a while shouldn't hurt...this should be your last resort.

Try eating more magnesium as well. Magnesium in high doses actually works like a laxative..... You can find it in bananas, chocolate, oats, seafood, hard cheese, nuts, spinach......
Otherwise I can just say as the others; WATER and sometimes more cardio exercise can help as well.
Hope you'll be okey!
