WELL.....I don't have anything to say either....'cause I don't know if it's any good or not....I just felt like buttin in...out now....

XXmister I'll go ahead and say it....your workouts suck....

You seem like you want to gain some size...so focus on big exercises...I would only do 3 days...

Mon

Standing Overhead Press(Military Presses,PushPresses, Jerks)
Bench
Dips

Wed

Bent Over Rows/Chin Ups-Pull Ups(rotate weekly)
Hyperextensions
Heavy Sit Ups
Heavy Russian Twists

Friday

Squats/Deadlifts(rotate weekly)
Lunges
1leg RDLs

if you dont want push/pull/lower, you can mix and match....If you feel like you wont sleep at night without curls, you can add 1 exercise at the end of 1 workout...

I would do 5 sets of 5-8 reps of 1st exercise and 2-3 sets of 2nd and 3rd exercise also of 5-8 reps....make sure you practice good form before you attempt these exercises....and warm up thoroughly

oh and i was thinking about cutting out a day or 2 i just couldnt find the time. i was feeling a little 2 sore last week so thats wut made me decrease my workout. i think im gonna finish up this week and then try it your way for a couple of weeks just to see where it takes me:dumbbell:

Soreness is a big factor.....part of the reason when you lift heavy(ier) that you need more days off....

I throw in some ab work here and there...weighted sit ups, leg raises, etc....during some workouts....

+++++++++++
Why would you only give menaces routine only a couple of weeks?? In my opinion, thats a great work out and you should do a complete 8 weeks with it.

By the way, are you doing a Hanes commercial?

i try to supstitute them with Incline DB Bench and Hack Squats
2006/10/14, 04:01 AM
you can do dip variation of 2 benches...

Hack Squats are alright. I think I'd do them second though, and do maybe step ups or lunges in place of back squats....

oh and what are back squats and step ups??
2006/10/14, 01:17 PM
Back Squat is when the bar lies accross your shoulders - this is the traditional squat. Step Ups are when you "step up" to a box or bench. You can do these with just your body weight or you can use DB or a bar in the same position as it would be in the back squat.
As far as the dip variations I think Menace is talking about putting 2 benches or chairs parallel. Put your hands on one and your feet on another and dip. You can lay weight on your thighs to make it harder.
If you are unsure of an exercise go to bodybuilding.com and search. Or google it. It is all out there. Good Luck

ive never understood why alot of people love dips so much. wouldnt a traditional weighted push up be better.
