Whats best, cardo before or after you work out?

I just did it after I worked out yesterday, only problem was I played basketball and my arms were so sore, I ALL my shots were about 2 feet short.

There are differences of opinion, but I would always opt for weight training first, you want to get the most out of it, and if you do cardio first, you are depleteing strength (glycogen) needed to properly overload the muscle for growth.

As far as genetics go, the skies the limit. You are limited only by your mental perception of it.

I also do my cardio after weights.Just make sure you do a short warm up prior to the weight training. Good luck with your goals.

I agree with bbfit1 and sypress, do your weight training first and cardio afterwards - the way your energy systems work, it makes more sense that way. You tap muscle glycogen before you tap bodyfat and stored glycogen is your power system, while the system that taps bodyfat is better for aerobic exercise.
It sounds like you are playing basketball for cardio - check your heart rate while you play sometime - it needs to be up continuously for twenty minutes min imum to gain any fitness benefits. Basketball is certainly caloric expenditure, but usually you are stoppoing and starting, so it might not be the best way to get your cardiovascular workout.
