On non lifting days I do HIIT cardio followed by moderate drinking water with 30 grams of BCAA's in it the whole time.

Should I do 15 before and 15 during?

Should I add Maxy Maize during?

I was thinking of 40g Wms and 30 BCAA's during!

I also take in 2g Beta-Alanine before!

Cardio after weights I do moderate and chug my PWO Shake of Whey CF, Wms , BCAA's and Beta-Alanine so I feel I'm covered here but I'm unsure about the non lifting days.

Wasn't sure if this should have been posted in Supplements Forum or here!

Come to think about it Waxy Maize for me is only needed PWO with weights so there is no need for it on Cardio only days but I would still like a Genuine reply about the BCAA's as either a split or all during!

Beta-Alanine is a every day take so that stays the same!

That was a genuine reply. Realistically, it matters a very small difference how you spread out your 15 grams of BCAA's.

More important would be the fact that HIIT is CNS intensive, as is heavy lifting, so CNS fatigue would be important.

How hard you are training is also important. I mention this because I don't see how someone that actually works out could put down a post "workout" shake, let alone chug a shake containing everything you said. If I did that after a "light" training day, I'd probably throw up while trying to get my shoes off.

If you still care, then keep in mind that the purpose of taking BCAA's around a workout is to increase their uptake into the muscles. This will lead most people to tell you to take them before and during. However, if you look at the halflife of about an hour and a half, so this would reason you to take it entirely before since on the grander scheme, it won't be "gone" until well after you finish your workout. This makes sense until you realize the effect BCAA's have on recovery, and that the majority of metabolic (am I using the right term?... I mean to say that as far as uptake is concerned) recovery occurs within 90 minutes of training. Genuine enough for you?

It now comes down to the science of when would it be most important, during recovery or in order to prevent exhaustion of amino supplies within the blood and muscle. This is hardly a science, and is more speculation than anything.

My recommendation would be to split it.

I was always a fan of sipping during my cardio. Especially so if dieting, as this is when I used them.
