I know this question is probably on here somewhere already, but here it goes. I need to lose about 35 pounds, that I put on over the course of 6 months or so. I currently strength train for about 20 minutes a day 5 days a week, and I run on the elliptical trainer for 20-40 minutes 5 days a week. I just want to know, is that enough to begin to lose weight, or should I be doing more? I also have two VERY active little girls that I chase after. Thanks in advance for all your advice and help.
-------------- It is better to die on your feet than to live on your knees.
as long as your diet is *in check* any cardio activity is a plus :D once you start seeing the weight loss you might consider switching things around alittle...keep educating yourself and the dedication....it will all come together :)
Your diet determines your results. Exercise other than helping you get healthier and more 'hard' rather than just lose weight is simply a means to burn more calories if fat loss is your goal. It will keep you from being skinny flabby if you know what I mean.
