Since I have yet been able to make it to GNC formy supplements, what foods would you recommend after a workout. Some people say eggs, some say a can of tuna, some fruit.
For a whole food option, eat as soon as you can, and a good choice would be 8 oz. chicken breast, 5 oz. sweet potato or 1/2 cup brown rice, and some veggies. Won't get into your system near as fast as a "liquid" meal, but as long as you get your required amount of calories in for the day, you will be fine.
