When you say "really works," what exactly do you mean? Will it shrink your waist and give you abs? No, don't waste your money. Clean up your diet and start doing cardio.

A friend of mine bought one to help him with abs (he has some other medical conditions). He likes it, but I think (and told him so) that it looks like one of those folding lounge chairs from the 70s - nothing more, nothing less...

It looks like it's great for kicking back with a beer and a bag of chips to watch the football game...however it's missing the cupholder.

My father-in-law has one and I tried it out...you can feel it work...but I feel a lot more when I just do crunches. However if it's any consolation my kid loves laying in it to watch TV...it's very comfortable.

I get a kick out of this from www.m-w.com:

Main Entry: 1lounge
Pronunciation: 'launj
Function: verb
Inflected Form(s): lounged; loung·ing
Etymology: origin unknown
intransitive senses : to act or move idly or lazily : LOAF
transitive senses : to pass (time) idly

So essentially the name of this product is "AB LOAF".

As hard as the eating part is, it is VERY VERY important. Go to the nutritional part of this website for help with that...it gives you a good idea of what your caloric intake should be based on your information. Once you get that basic idea, you can tweak your diet from there. Its alot of trial and error.

A friend of mine has an ab lounge. I tried it, and it's harder then a crunch, and burns all over the abs rather than just the uppers. I didnt really do sets or anything on it, i just tried it. If it was cheap, I would definately buy it but its not worth it.
