Is it ok to work out abs every day or should I skip a day in between to tone? I have an ab roller and I am at 120 crunches a day. That includes upper, lower, and side abdominals.

First off you may not want to hear this, but you can do abs till the cows come home and never see them. If you do not change your diet. Abs are as much a product of diet than anything. That being said, if you want just a flat stomach, no "six pack", then feel free to do them everyday. You will basically be burning calories, and this will aid your fat loss, but not build abs. If on the other hand you want the six pack, you will have to use resistance, and train them no more than 3 times per week, and let them rest and recouperate like any other muscle.

Abs are muscles too and the rest principle applies. Allow time for recovery. I work abs twice a week. I do three exercises, one for each area (ex. Crunches, Leg raises, Twists. )3 sets 20-25 reps. per exercise. That is the ab workout recommended by ft for me. So 120 reps is not too much.

You also have to relies if you want to see that six pack abs alone won't do it. You can have a strong stomach without a six pack it you don't do two thing:
1. Got to have some Cardio to trim the fat
2. DIET (No 120 crunches and then 2-3 hamburgers)

Also crunches should be done at a max of 4 times a week to let the muscle recoupe
