im 5ft 11"
my weight is 150lbs
my bodyfat is between 8-9%
however, only my UPPER abs are showing.
So my question is....should i focus on reducing my bodyfat % further...say to around 6%, or should i put more work into training my lower abs?
im only asking this because i can already FEEL muscle in my lower abs, i just cant see them.
which would be the quickest way of seeing the change im looking for?

Try putting more work into training your entire body.

Seriously, training your entire body will tighten it up (abs too) and some compound lifts hit your abs just as good if not better than sit-ups. Spot reduction does not work.

At that weight and body fat if you can't see them then you need to build them up. Crunches and situps are great, but compound lifts like deadlifts and squats do a lot more work towards your core than you may think.

and add weight to your ab workouts, that will build them up also.
What method are you using to determine your bodyfat?

I'm going to bet your way off wrong about where your BF% is.

I 2nd your bf is probably way off....those sites are a garbage method of testing bf...your bodyfat maybe as high as 15 in reality....
Heavy Deadlifts and Squats are great at working abs/trunk. I like heavy standing rope crunches/twists on pulldown station.....
