hi, I have finally decided to lose the extra weight and be the fit person i have always wanted to be. I am looking to tone up my body but dont have access to a gym. my weight training will be done at home with free weights. does anyone know some good excersises that use just body weight or dumbells. Most specifically for biceps, chest and legs. I also would like to know how everyone keeps their motivation...i tend to lose it after a few weeks. thanks for your help!

You might want to invest in one of those stability balls. They are great to use with dumbells. I keep my motivation by looking at pictures of my overweight father and vowing that I will never let myself slip away like he has.

Alot of the machine exercises can be changed to using just dumbells or a barbell... if you list which ones use machines, I'm sure someone can give you a appropriate substitute!

Hit exercise plan/ scroll downand hit customize workout. Swap feature should be there unless its just in pro.

If its only in pro, you can print the workout, go to exercise resources, find a similar movement and write it in. I really like the pro freature that lets me swap exercises before I print as well as view the entire 8 week regimine.
If you want to use any of the special gain programs like thighs, glutes, chest, back etc, you must have machines. With the pro version, I can trick the program by selecting both machines and freeweights and the go back and swap out the machines.I only have freeweights and a really doofy cable thing and leg extension and seated calf. Its enables me to do the specialty stuff.

I've signed up for General Progression Training program on FT... I was using the Home one, but got through that and am looking for some new exercises with more variety... some of the exercises on this one use machines, but am I able to swap them...? I think there some squats and rows, but I may be able to swap those somewhat... I'm doing all of this at home and don't have a lot of room for big gear like a Bowflex (nor can I afford one!)

Yeah - the main benefit of Pro is being able to swap exercises!
