Thought I'd post some of the things I've learned from FT...feel free to add your own..:)
Ten Things I Learned from FT.....
1. Must eat more to loose weight…1200cal/day is not enough while working out 6X/week
2. Carbs are not bad, but some carbs are better than others and you need Protien to build muscle
3. Work only 1 body part / week.
4. Lunges / squats / DL rule along with other compound exercises. (for me anyways!) and form is everything.
5. Change your workout regularly to avoid muscle adaptation (and boredom!)
6. Drink tons of water every day
7. Rest
8. Read nutrition labels to ensure no hidden “nasty’s”
9. Loosing weight is 100% diet and 100% exercise
10. Weight training and Cardio are best done on alternate days
11. HIIT is a great way to burn calories
12. Getting a 6 pack at the beer store is much easier than trying to get one on your abs—although both have an effect on overall physical appearance!
13. I can’t count to 10!
Thnx to all those who have contributed to my new wealth of information! Still lots to learn:big_smile:

Good stuff.
Unfortunately in my prime I never bought a 6 pack at the store...usually a 12 pack...and now it shows. I'm working on that though.
Might want to work on that counting...you might think you're getting 2000 calories and end up getting 2600.

Decided to fix my counting issues by adding 7 more to make an even 20....then I promise to stop!
14. scales are evil , measuring is better
15. Tracking your food intake is the best way to determine what calories/F/P/C you’re consuming
16. It is best to rest an injury than to work thru the pain
17. It takes days/ even weeks for your pics to show up in your FT profile
18. Diet and exercise is a lifestyle not a short term attempt at some unrealistic wt. goal
19. If you feel good on the inside, you’ll always look good on the outside!
20. Guinness and chicken wings (my personal evils) are best saved for 1 free day per week and kept in moderation (although moderation is a relative term:))

i'm surprised to know that moderation is a relative term :surprised:.. i thought money was a relative term.. u see.. if u have money u have a lot of relatives.. if u don't have money.. there is no relative
