Welcome to ft! Have you already signed up for a mass program?

Stick with basic, compound exercises such as standing barbell curls, military and push presses and tricep extensions. These build mass...

Robert is 100% correct: stick with the compound movements. Military is awesome for your shoulders. Go as heavy as you can without hurting yourself. For me, skullcrushers have been the best excercise for gaining strength and mass in the triceps. Try supersetting these with close-grip presses and feel the burn! Standing curls and hammer curls are best for developing both heads of the bicep.

Hammer curls are done the same way as rugular dumbbell curls except the palms face inward and stay tha way throughout the entire movement. Like the name implies, its like using a hammer. This will also work the forearms a bit.

Make sure your shoulder isn't moving on your bicep exercises and that your elbow isn't moving too.. I usually look down at the shoulder of the arm i'm curling with to make sure that doesn't shake at all.. and I usually look in the mirror to see if my elbow is moving at all.. I had to curl a bit less to do it this way but seems to target my bicep better... watch the guy in the boflex commercial.. he seems to do it the way i'm talking about.. when he curls that cable or whatever it is...

When doing the hammer curls should the weight be reduced from barbell curls?

.. hammer curls are more difficult.. so you will automatically use a lower weight..
