I made a mistake this morning. You see, I have a Karate Tournament tomorrow (Sat the 23rd), which I'm fighting in. I was going to lift extra light weights so as not to be sore or stiff tomorrow. Well, it didn't happen that way, the light weights started burning, and I just had to finish the sets and reps. I guess I'm stubborn that way. Now my biceps and triceps are kinda rubbery. Can anyone make a suggestion as to how to avoid some soreness?

ice therapy, and, if you can, some sort of NSAID. keep your food intake and supplementation up as well.

Non-Steriodal Anti-Inflamitory Drug... products such as ibuprofen, aspirin, naproxen sodium, ketoprofen, etc. These will reduce pain, inflamation, and help keep the swelling down.
