Walking is good cardio to start with but over time you will want to up the pace. Continue to cycle the running in with the walking and add a few hills to the walk if you can.

You should alternate your cardio. Try maybe riding the bike a few times a week or use an elliptical trainer. You want to give your body a variety so it doesn't adapt to your schedule. Also you need to have a good diet if you are trying to lose body fat and weight.

All good advice above. If walking briskly gets your heart rate up into your target zone keep with it. Eventually, it will take more physical effort to get your heart rate up as your cardiovascular system strengthens. I trade off between running and Tae Bo for my cardio work. Some people laugh at the Tae Bo but it is a strenuous cardio workout and great stress buster. Hope this helps, good luck!

To loose weight cardio only helps a little bit. What really counts is the diet next to.
