i have a gym at home which i used often, but i also go to my school gym aswel which is pretty basic stuff, i didnt no if it wud be better to join a local gym instead of training at home or at school

It's not a matter of where you train but HOW you train.

i have had some gud gains but i think i will try out in a social gym

The local gym probably has a lot more equipment than home or your school. Some of these will help (wish I had a squat rack)! But nothing beats working out with free weights...

I have a half cage and i can do about 60 or so diff. thing but there is'nt anything that bet the gym.....ie motivation from your piers.

Yeah, the gym has its advantages. I prefer to workout alone at home...but when I feel I need something more, I would go to the gym and get on the squat rack and leg press machines!

I like working at home to because I never have to wait for someone else to finish, but the gym has alot more to choose from so that i can mix up the routine.
and keep my eye on some new things that may be helpful to my workout.

I hate gyms. I can see the value for OTHER people but I am pretty much a loner in most things. Besides "gym guys" are still annoying.

i work out in my basement just give me the bench and some weights and i am off and of course some pink floyd now that rocks................
