I have a pain where my chest muscles connect (sternum i think)... It sometimes goes away between workouts, but usually not. It doesn't hurt when I workout or when I breath/cough. Its just there... Anyone else experience this?

No sorry don't know about this one.
Does it hurt when you do pull overs or dumbell flyes?
What about putting some heat on the area, maybe that helps?

I used to have chest pains, my doc said it was air settling.

For me, that particular area feels "heavy" after a very intense cardio session or extreme fatigue from a long day of tennis. I especially feel it when I breathe. It's not painful...just heavy.
