Hi ! I use to have a program but my friend him, doesnt have one . He's doing every machine of the gym for the biceps and he spends like 3hrs in the gym. My question is : is it better to have a program that last 2hrs or to do anything u want and to really workout 3hrs... ?

You can do an intense and effective workout in 45 minutes to an hour or so. If he's spending three hours in there, he's wasting a good part of the day, unless he's training for something specifically.

I 100% agree with Tim. I spend about 4 hours a week strength training. Unless your buddy is a body builder, on the juice, and eating a gazillion calories a day, he needs to overhaul his program.

I have use to spend 3 hrs in the gym daily working out. Now I am on a program here and spend around 1 hour lifting and a 1/2 hour to 1 hour doing cardio and I am finshing my 8th week and I'm in the better shape now then when I was when I worked out for 3 hours.
