So we hijacked Nate's thread.....I figured I'd start another one.

What is everyone's goals to hit before the end of the year?

I lost a lot of strength this summer and had to get back to where I was. Current squat - 280, bench - 185, DL - 335.

To hit before EOY - 315, 225, 365.

My squat and bench are finally moving. I haven't maxed bench in 4 weeks, but my incline is up to 175. I squated 280 the other day and went for a big jump to 295....so close, but just missed it.

I wanted a 405lb squat and 500lb deadlift. I have the squat. I think that I can get it to 440 before the year is out. I don't have the 500lb dl yet, but I am super close and I know that I will hit more before the year is out...maybe 515lb.

I really just want that quarter on my bench. I feel like 275 is some kind of land mark. I am pretty confident I'll have before the year is out. I might even hit 280.

my goals, i wanted to hit 3,4,5, but really hadnt decided if that meant plates or by 100 pounds.

Bench goal: 315 or 300? I have hit 275 as a PR (maybe 280, cant remember right now?), and i think i could pull out 300 by the end of the year, especially with band work, so i think this is attainable. 315 might be iffy.

Squat: 405 or 400? Doesnt matter, i already hit 415 and honestly think i could go for a serious grinder of a bout 430-435 right now, possibly hitting 450 or so by years end.

Dead: 495 or 500? I have only hit 435 as my best. The strength coach watched my form and said i could have had 455 if i had just sat back. I am now incorporating bands in my speed work and concentrating on squats cuz they seem to get my DL up faster than actually DLing.

DL is my biggest goal to catch, but i think i can get in the ballpark of this goal but im sure as hell going to shoot for the stars...

well it's almost the end of the year, so I'll put my intermediate goals.

I have a surgery scheduled for February, and one in March. My goal is to still be squatting up to and including the day of my first surgery (stay healthy enough to do so)

That quarter on my bench should go up after a deload week. I'm in need of one, so we'll figure 2 weeks.

I won't be weak as hell 4 months from now. I'm actually not doing too badly. There's a long list of exercises I can't do, but like I said, it's my goal to still be healthy enough to squat in February.

Besides, it's not going to make it worse. The surgery is going to cost the same no matter how irritated my labrum is.

Well i'd like to bench 350 before new years....I hate bench. It seems to never go ANY where:( Best that I have done I did 3 singles with 1 min rest inbetween of 315. My pr from WHILE back is 335.

I'd like to see 515 for dl by new years....515 just sounds nice lol. usally my squat is around my dl...so 515 would be nice too there.
