My favorite is definately Lee Priest. He is a really cool guy and works really hard. I don't think that he gets enough credit for his great condition. He has huge arms, legs, back...heck his is just an all aroung big guy!

In no particular order: Grimeck, Park, Pearl, Taylor, Columbo, Labrada, and of course, Schwarzenegger.

Lee Haney was always my favorite when I was in high school. Jay Cutler, Dorian Yates (huge lats), Schwarzenegger (of course), Franco Columbo (awesome chest), Flex Wheeler (I have a lot of respect for that guy), and Big Ron Coleman are all just simply amazing.

Great Topic MuscleRage..

Well if there is going to be a greatest bodybuilder of his time and all time, it would have to be Arnold Schwarzenegger. The complete packagae, I think he hit his peak in 1974, cause 1975 he was bigger but softer.

Moving on.. it all depends on what qualities we are looking at. In the more recent days I would have to say in no particular order: Lee Priest, Dexter Jackson, Flex Wheeler and Kevin Levrone.

If I had a wish to compete as a pro either today or in the 70's.. I would choose 70's. The muscle were attainable without so much sauce..

I dont believe that anyone could be too big...there's always room to grow. The bigger they are the better the competition and more work that has to be put into competing.

Arnold Schwarzenegger. By far, over all the others. The Mentzer bros. Frank Zane (I have a pic were hes deadlifting something unbelievable .. like 650+ lbs). They all still look great (Mentzer bros, peace to their souls, great kings). Personally, most of today's pros look a bit like theres a lil too much juice around. But if I had yo pick... mmm... Grant Thomas, Kevin Levrone, King Kamali, Shawn Ray, Jay Cutler (no particular reason for the order..)

Why don't you guys support natural body builders? I have a lot more respect for guys like Skip La Cour than any of the names above...

Scott-
You definately have a point. Natural BB's that achieved as mush as he has are really impressive. However, some of the big boys above are equally impressive. Just because they are not natural, doesn't mean that you or I could achieve what they have. The size, definition, intensity, genetics...there are many intangibles on both sides and both are commendable. I think, speaking for myself (Arnold fan), we are celebrating the massive beaty of these FREAKS! Like most freakish/talented people we dog them because in most cases we cannot do, or would never do, what they have or can.
My 2 cents.

if you read my initial post, the first three BBs that i lift were quite drug free, as well as being some of the greatest in the history of the sport.
