Kept my head wraped up in a frozen towel yesterday during my workout. Helped a lot but still had absolutly no fun. I'm moving to Canada.

Where I am, we were pushing 95F, then add the humidity on top of that...

Wrightsville Georgia, the sauna of the universe. 94 would be a welcome change.

Oh whah! You guys need some cheese with that whine?
We had 41 straight days of 110+, and about half were 120 and higher. And of course, this doesn't count the other days that were about 110 before and after the 41 days. Maybe we don't have the humidity (thank god! Could you imagine 125 degrees with 90%?), but it's sitting in the 120s, and at 5%, it doesn't matter if your inside or outside, you can feel the water being pulled out of you. You're not even able to sweat! I'll drink more than 2 gallons of H2O in a day, and probably pee once.... -------------- Michael Humble, even in Victory. |

Vegas is Hot, but it's windy and dry. Here it's just stale stagnant heavy wet heat. Either way it sucks

Anything over 97, I can't tell a difference. Our humidity hasn't gone under 85% in the last 50 years. Sweat is a way of life. I want October.-------------- From aboard MV The Shop Johns Island Charlie | |

Well, we have had some really lovely weather the past 4 days. The high has been around 85 F. This is in the high desert where it should be in the low to mid 100's. I'm not complaining!

Wwwest I hope a polar bear gets you. Msmogreen I hope you get hit by a tumble weed...
To keep it fitness related I did have a killer workout today. It was hot, but the humidity was down. Had a buzz the entire workout not sure whether that was due to heat exhaustion or my massive intensity. More research required tomorrow |

Well, you all have jinxed us here. We have an index of 112 today. Oh well. I'm staying in where it's cool and remembering that by mid October we'll have wind chills of negative 50. :(

Mid October is perfect jeans and tshirt weather. 70's during the day...50's at night. Usually the coldest nights here only get down into the teen's. -50 windchill, maybe that'll keep you're tanning buddy at home;)

Haven't made it to the beach this year. Tybee's better than 2hr ride. I have been to the pool. though, it felt more like a hot tub. What part of Georgia u from?

Live just south of Savannah. Charlie there are a few good places in Savannah to listen to good music and watch drunks. Hubby and I are not big drinkers, a few every now and then, but River Street and surrounding area is great for watching people make fools of themselves! Are ya headed north or south from there? I actually live in Darien... best shrimp there is!-------------- My Catahoula did it. I saw a book titled "Sex for Dummies" and wondered why anyone would teach dumb people how to reproduce? |
