Ok, I'm working on getting this into a "habit". But, if I miss a training (Home workout) is it ok to workout on the following day or wait until the next workout day?

And is there an exercise I can do instead of the chin between chairs that will work the same muscles. I do not have room for that "set-up"

Thanks for the support folks. I have already passed this website on to my "walking buddy", my friend in AZ and my brother!! This is a great website!!

If you workout on the following day just be sure to space the next workout out accordingly so you aren't working the same muscles back-to-back on consecutive days.

Do you have dumbbells? Or an exercise band? If you pick up an exercise band, you can anchor it (with the anchor that comes with it) in the top of a doorway and do pull-downs. bands are great because they are inexpensive and don't require much room for use or storage.

glad you like the site! Stick around!

Thanks for the input. All I have at the moment for equipment is an exercise mat.lol But, I do use 16.4 oz bottles of water for the bicep curls and side laterals. I will be getting some dumbells and the resistance bands soon. (Hopefully today) Those pull downs sound good to me.

One more question: Due to my disc compression problem, I find myself concentrating more on "not aggravating" my back than on the muscle I should be concentrating on. I was thinking of getting this liitle exercise "helper" at Walmart called the EX Shaper. Does anyone have any experience with it or other comments? Money is tight and don't want to waste it on something I really could do without. I'd really like to get a treadmill too, someday.
