Hi, I am new to this forum and posted a similar post in the beginners section, but didnt get much replies so wish to get more replies on this section of the forum.

I apologise to the moderators for posting in two sections

Last year this time, I used to weigh 12.5 stone when I first started weight training and cardio. I lost a stone and a half and moved to 11 stone.

I am now back up to 14 stone (about 200 pounds), looking to lose the stomach, love handles and gain muscle mass.

I am currently working the following regime:

MON: CHEST + BICEPS + ABS + CARDIO (10 mins)
TUE: CARDIO (30 mins)
WED: BACK + TRICEPS + CARDIO (10 mins)
THUR:CARDIO (30 mins)
FRI: SHOULDERS + LEGS + CARDIO (10 mins)
SAT: CARDIO (30 mins)

I lift 30KG (inc the bar) on when working the chest.
Biceps and shoulders I lift 10KG

I eat 5 to 6 times a day with three litres of water a day. I mainly eat food high in proteins but only eat enough to keep going for three hours or my next food fix.

Is this above all ok... or do I need to change anything?

BTW I sprained my ankle real bad yesterday while playing soccer, would it be ok to use the rowing machine?

Looks like a good start, franky.

Ice and stretch that ankle - row if it doesn't aggravate it.try it and see. But it might be best just to let it heal.

Thanks guys and gyals of course for the positive comments. Seems like I'm doing ok.

I will try the rowing machine today and see how it goes. I hope it does not impede my progress because that will be a problem, having just started!
