Well, much depends on the intensity of it. If you are talking for most of it, then of course not. However if you are doing a heavy hard balls to the wall type workout, then much over 45 min. - 1 hr. will at the very least start to tax the Central nervous system and not muscle anymore, and thus cortisol will rear it ugly head.
