yes i no there are alot of posts on zma and i read them all but i couldnt find anything that fitted what i wanted to know. Yes i know you take it 2 hrs after your last meal and yes i know you take it 30,40min before bed. But what about if your pre bed meal has calcium in it. Say if i took my ZMA 45-1hr before bed and then had my pre bed meal with cottage cheese for the casein right before bed would i still get the best effects of the ZMA for would they need to be seperated more. Sorry to post another one but i really did search through alot and just couldnt find it:(

You are awfully young to be taking a lot of supplements. Why not save your money and eat, train and rest and see how far that takes you before adding in expensive supplements?

well i guess i wouldnt say im looknig for a quick help but to try and get any edge i can in sports. I know that may sound weak but well yeh. Also for recovery and sleep zma just fits alot of the criteria that i need. I have protein powders and have creatine(havnt used yet as im sick) and think a healthy help wouldnt be so bad.

Danny - here is some info from a previous post, I think it answers your question - from BB1fit -
Calcium can fight for absorbtion in good amounts with the zinc. I would take my ZMA after my last meal(2 hrs.), wait 30-45 min., then have my cottage cheese and go to bed.
Also - here is a formula to make your own ZMA (cheaper)
Buy magnesium (aspartate or not, doesn't seem to matter much)
zinc
B6
and take 500mg magnesium
50mg zinc
half a b6 tab
buy all pill form so they dissolve at the same rate.
I hope that answers your question!

If it is a small amount of calcium, no worries.
