It looks ropes on the sides. Okay, I can promise you none of that is what most women like. So, the 'V' is the part between the ropes?

My daughters (20 and 22) seem to like the scrawny, nerdy type and I tend not to look at a guys build at all (although I have a hard time with someone who doesn't at least try to be healthy). And these friends of yours may like the look, but I'm sure when it comes to dating they are going to take other things into consideration, like personality, character...the things that matter, and not hold out for the guy with perfect v-shaped lower abs. I think arms are way sexier anyway--and that doesn't mean they have to be huge.

Also, my first impression of that pic--it reminds me of pictures taken to appeal to gay men. I know there is a particular men's For Men Only "muscle mag" that has guys posing in little spandex briefs and nothing else obviously intended for gay entertainment...and they sell it in the supermarket.

jdleguern Posts: 3 Joined: 2007/03/13	2007/03/14, 02:32 AM The "V" or as my old high school trainer used to call them the "sexy boy muscles" (He would joke with us cause that's what the girls called them) The V has gained alot of prominence because alot of models have it, I have heard (although don't take my word for it.) that if you do abdominal excersises, you will get a "v" shape down there. It's honestly, a pain in the but to keep it though, it's like abs. If you don't geneticly have them, you basicaly have to eat chicken slices and brocolli for the rest of your life.

However in my left picture the top of the other V is visible without revealing too much, for those that have ProMembership and can look at the larger pic. However even at that point I never got a visible 6 Pack. I put on about 20 lbs since then, so it's not as visible anymore but I'm down about 10lbs from there and working on it for Summer again. Diet got way out out of whack after hernia surgery and quitting smoking. But it's under control again and I will be back to that point by end of April.
