Longtime lurker, first time poster.
I finally decided that after lounging around for a year, it was time to lose the 20lbs I had as excess fat and regain my former lean shape from college.
Now I work for a beer company in their sales force, so I eat out 2-3x a day, and am on the road all the time, making training hard.
However, I scheduled myself to have an hour or two block every evening when I get home with which to work out (6-8pm).
I simply want to know, is it alright to work out on consecutive days if you use different muscle groups? For instance, on Monday I did *push* exercises (chest, tri, shoulder) Tuesday was legs, and Wednesday was *pull* (back, bi and abs)
I run most days in the morning just to wake myself up, so I'm getting my cardio in. I really enjoy going to the gym and after I work out have a real sense of accomplishment, but I want to make sure I'm not overdoing it and setting myself back over the long run.
Any thoughts?
-Mike

Your workout is sound for a place to begin. When I was 12-14 years younger I did a similar routine, Mon, Tues, Wed, Off Fri, Sat or Sun.....now I could not do that LOL. Anyway if you see results keep at it.
-------------- When I consider the short duration of my life, swallowed up in the eternity before and after, the little space which I fill and even can see, engulfed in the infinite immensity of spaces of which I am ignorant and which know me not, I am frightened and am astonished at being here rather than there; for there is no reason why here rather than there, why now rather than then. Who has put me here? By whose order and direction have this place and time been allotted to me? The eternal silence of these infinite spaces frightens me.

sounds like you are on point. I would span your workouts alittle more if you can just so you have a rest day. Other than that, I would just adjust your routine/exercises when you hit a plateau.
good luck.
