Anyone have a template or guide as to what this program looks like and how it works? I wanna compare it to the Bill Starr 5x5

That's the routine my high school football taught us to use. It was awesome. Here's a link to their main site:

Good info on that site. The routine produces solid results. It's not the best out there (in my opinion), but it works.

I had great results from that program my sophmore year in high school... some pretty big gains in strength and size.

Low volume total body undulating periodization.
Well put together, and even more important for a high school athlete, very well tracked progession.

Yeah, now that I think about it, it was completely undulating. The main exercises were bench, squat, power clean, and deadlifts. I remember that the rep schemes changed from workout to workout...you'd go heavy one day and light the next. I remember hearin the football players complain when the 3 sets of 10 day (or whatever it was) arrived. :big_smile:

i think u may need to buy the package from that site to get it....
there's a 5x5 variant program on sherdog.com S/P forum...read the sticky's there
