hey everyone..
im new and i cant wait to start doing my program..

i was just wondering, how much rest i should be having between sets?

also, my program has been designed so that i reduce the number of reps with each additional set. what about the weights? :dumbbell: should i reduce the amount of weight that i do after each set?.. stay with the same weight?.. or go higher?..

thanks lots.. looking forward to your feedback!!

Depends on what you are trying to achieve. Basically shorter rest periods for cutting/dieting, longer rest periods for mass/strength.

Typically with a lower amout of reps, you add more weight...

i dont think i have that much fat to worry about and i am in the normal body weight range so my goal is to be leaner and increase strength and definition.. so i guess that would mean a longer rest.. would a 60-90sec rest be enough?..

i have sets where reps are initially 15 and finally reduced to 8. so i guess that you mean that i'd start from a lighter weight and move to heavier ones..

thanks guys:big_smile:
