I've been down with a cold of some sort last 4 days,I still have a chunky cough so I'm going to stay down a couple of more days.My question is should I go ahead and start my workout where I left off(same reps weights and cardio) a week ago?Or should I take it easy the first couple of days?

Well a week off is not to long, the first workout I would go a bit lighter with less intensity. Getting voer a cold and then coming back is a bit different than taking a week off to rest.
