Because I have hypoglycemia(under control) I dont have massive stores of glycogen in my tissues to be used for energy.
Some days I work my legs I cant finish the sets because my legs go seriously weak and rubbery..other days they are fine. Is it because my muscles are using up the glycogen too fast, leaving the muscles too weak to continue?
How should I try and combat this..more decent carbs before my workout and after?
Thanks!

Hey mystic, I always have oats before my workout. We just discussed something that you might find beneficial in another thread, look for the "TKD diet" thread in the specific diet and nutrition forum. Also I always have a decent meal after my workout as well, usually a chicken breast or some tuna with a sweet potato.

Definately up the carb intake pwo. I am hypoglycemic, and after a good workout is the one time I can truly carb load.

Also oats and potatoes are complex carbohydrates. After a workout, and before, look for simple sugars.

Agreed with Wrestler on the pwo simple sugars. Especially so in your case. After this, then have the meal that Mojo spoke of.
