I have to eat somewhere around 4400 calories a day to gain a lb per week. I have been eating around 3800 or so and I just have not been gaining weight or getting bigger. I know I have a fast metabolism but damn wouldn't you say this is pretty rare, especially since I am 5'6" and around 133 lbs?

Sounds a little off to me. Either your metabolism is moving at the speed of light or you have a tapeworm the size of Texas. That's around 33 calories a day per pound of body weight. Just sounds a little off. You might want to re-check your numbers.

Your numbers don't sound right....are you a cross country/track athlete? it's possible if you run upwards of 5-10 miles most days of the week...

Yeah, unless you are really Lance Armstrong, those numbers are way out of wack.

Well, it's what I have been eating. I know it sounds really crazy, but my dad is VERY skinny, he's 56 or 57 and he weighs less than I do. My brother is about 5'8" or 5'9" and he weighs around 110 lbs... I think my metabolism is rather slower compared to those, I carry a bit more body fat etc.... but still... I just want to gain weight.

go to your doctor and check your thyroid ...you may have hyperthyroidism....

Extremely unlikely... I have had a fast metabolism all my life been stick and bones up til I was a teenager and developed an appetite. Also heart is very steady at 60-70 BPM and blood pressure couldn't be better. I would have been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism much earlier in life if I had it.... it could be just my genetics... I know some people like Anthony Ellis that had to eat around 4000-5000 calories as well despite being quite thin.
