I have always been active in sports and do heavy lifting at work.. When I work out (reps..) my muscles lose there mobility (can't straighten arm, tight muscle etc.) is this common and what can I do to help it. thx....
In normal activity that you are used to, you don't feel the effects of muscle tightness very often. However in the gym where you are isolating certain muscle groups, and training to failure, you are putting a greater deal of stress on the targeted muscles, which in turn gives you that pump/tightness feeling you are talking about. good luck with your goals and welcome to ft.
