I usually just stretch for 10-15 minutes before I start. What sort of warmup would you recommend?

A muscle warm up. Stretching isn't enough, especially if it's static stretching. Dynamic stretching should be what you focus on before lifting. Also, you need to get blood flowing and properly warm up your muscles before you start lifting. If all your doing is static stretching, then you are preparing your body for relaxation, not for lifting. The tingling in extremities can often indicate poor bloodflow. I recommend an exercise complex prior to weightlifting. Whatever warm up you are doing prior to any form of exercise should be specific to that form of exercise. If you are lifting, you should do a warm up of a few sets with lighter weight before you start your work sets. If you are running, then a few intervals would be helpful. This is to get your body ready and awake for exercise.

Yawning is your bodies way of getting oxygen when it is deprived.

instead of waiting to yawn, just breathe correctly when you work out. it definately helps and is extremely important.

I yawn a /lot/ when I'm lifting. About every 10 or so seconds I'll start a 5 seconds yawn after I get past a few sets. After the yawning starts it doesn't stop until about 20-30 minutes after I've stopped exercising.I get a tingling sensation in my extremeties and my head feels cold. When it gets really bad my gut feels cold and I get overtaken with nausea and blue spots start to show and I have to lie down.
What's causing this? I used to lift regularly before I took a 2 year hiatus from exercise. After several sets I'd turn all red and feel pumped back then, but it's been at least 4 months since I've restarted my lifting and I turn sheet white/grey instead and feel faint instead of pumped.
What's making this happen to me and what are some strategies I could use to fix the situation?

Are you warming up prior to exercising???? Also, heavy music and ammonia tabs tend to wake up most powerlifters... just a suggestion.
