I don't know why but mine is an eight week split but I have had tremendous results... I began at around 125 lbs and now weigh in at pretty close to 132 lbs. I noticed that whenever I began the whole deadlifting and squat day I had the best results from then on, as well as when I began the bench press. Pretty soon my program is going to be up and I am thinking of just repeating the weeks when the bench press and deadlifts and squats began, that would be a good idea wouldn't it? I mean the exercises would change every other week aside from the deads and squats and benches and those should be the heart of your prgram right??? Also how good is the 7 lbs gained in the 6 or so weeks I have been doing the program?

what was your bf like before and after ? the weight gain could be very impressive or misleading depending on the bf....
you're noticing something something that's been stressed quite a bit...when you start doing big compound exercises...that's when you'll see the biggest gains...push yourself as much as possible in these lifts...as well as other big lifts like pull ups, rows, good mornings, and so forth...you'll grow more and more....just continue to consume progressively higher total calories....(i am assuming you do common things of warming up properly, and doing enough warm up sets to prevent injuries...and using good form in big lifts....when you're pushing yourself)
