I am 5 ft nuthin and weigh 126 pounds.

Comparing to yourselves or your opinions on weights, where would you put me? over, under or normal?

I do karate, and I train with weights, but only to get better at karate. I'm not aiming to lose weight unless someone suggests it would be a good idea.

Plus, I eat healthily. Won't list all the food I eat - I know I eat healthily.

:)

Katie

Scale wieght really means very little. It all depends on your body composition, %BF, muscle tone etc. You need to decide whether you are comfortable with your current weight based on how you look and feel. Are you lean and toned or loose and flabby. Given you eat healthy and workout, I'd guess you're lean and toned. Keep it up and good luck with the karate.

I can only compare you to my wife. She is 5'4", and wants to be 125. She is fairly muscular, very fit and very lean, close to competition levels. (she is not a muscle head like you see on tv) But she weighs 135 right now, and is very happy and looks very good.

So, based on that, at 5' even and 125, unless you have a decent amount of muscle mass, you may draw somewhat of a conclusion.

How do you feel you look? I made a post as to ideal bodyfats for women, will have to look it up. But, if you are not in competition, asthetics has everything to do with it. If you are happy, then you are set. Many folks think they have to be a certain bodyfat these days, and this is media driven. You can actually be a little overweight and healthy, in fact much more healthy than many of the very lean women out there.
