I'm going to re-start running and from previous experience I know that it will take 1hr to run, stretch and shower. As it is now dark when I get up and dark after work, I think morning darkness is less perilous than evening darkness. So...this means that I will have to get up at 5.15 am. I need some serious encouragement, or stories of what makes you get up out of that comfy warm bed on a dark morning to splash through puddles!
Thanking you!
Katie

its the best time of day. you get to see the milk man doin his rounds, and hear that clinkin of his empty bottles, i love that. you get to dodge all the sick and empty bottles from the night before because the road sweepers havent had a chance to clear it up yet. but the milk bottle thing is reason enough!!!

I used to look like Pritchard. After hardcore running I grew two more legs and I'm often mistaken for a buffalo. How much more inspiration could you want??

That's a great way to start off your day. You'll feel great - liked you've accomplished something and you won't have to dread it all day long. I love working out in the morning because it really does make you feel good about yourself and I notice I'm always in a much better mood if I do. That being said, getting up at 5:00 am can be difficult - sometimes I just tell myself outloud, "Get your lazy butt out of bed and get in the gym. You'll feel great when it's over." And I usually listen to myself! Good Luck!

FANTASTIC!
And I've always liked Rollins, in or out of Black Flag. I remember when he went on his "Spoken Word" Tour; a friend of mine saw it out here in LV, and was amazed. I now see why...

*ITS LEG DAY*
You already blew out your wraps.
Your towel cant absorb any more sweat.
Theres puke on the floor.
Your partner is passed out.
Theres a crowd gathering...
And that was just the warm up!

This is possibly one of the best inspirational stories i have read. What a powerful voice Rollins has. Thanks swarm for sharing that with all of us.
