Hi,
I recently found that I do better doing my cardio in the evening time. I don't eat anything after supper (4 to 5 pm) until the next morning and even though I'm eating breakfast, I don't think I have enough in me, I don't think the breakfast has enough time to get in there and give me the energy I need. I done a workout in the evening the other night, one that I can barely get through whenever I've done it in the morning, and I breezed right through it. I couldn't believe how different my body felt. Could my not eating anything after my dinner the day before be the reason I have so much trouble with doing cardio in the morning? I actually go from 4pm to 5am the next morning without eating. I do eat well during the day and I have a nice supper around 4 to 5 pm.
I tested this again on Friday. I done a high impact interval DVD with 10 intervals total. I've done this workout a million times in the morning and have had to modify at least half of the 10 intervals. When I done this one on Friday evening. I made it through all of them with no problem.
Can someone confirm if I am right about this? I really like getting my workouts done in the morning, that's how I've always worked out. I like to get it done and over with. But I am wondering if I am wasting my time with my cardio by doing it and struggling so much. Any opinions?
Thanks to anyone with feedback

You could be right that you don't have enough fuel for your morning workouts.
It could also be that your body just isn't ready for that level of exertion in the morning, everyone's bio-rythms are different, maybe you just naturally have an energy peak in the evening.
If you are getting a better workout in the evening, I think you will benefit more from working out in the evening.
If you really want to work out in the morning, have something between dinner and bedtime and see if it makes a difference.

This topic has been discussed several times in these forums, I myself asking when I first started working out.
I have provided you with a few links to threads below of this discussion.
Although mornings do have a few more advantages you won't receive in the evening workouts, it is best to do what your body is telling you. I myself am a morning person. I have a hard time coming home from work in the evenings and motivate myself to do a workout, unless it is my weekly bike ride.
Good luck and read the threads, you'll find some very useful information in them.
