When I am running or lifting I am not sure how much the CD in my walkman effects my energy and the way I workout. I mainly listen to Deftones or a perfect cirlce or something load. Does anyone have a favorite Cd or band they like to listen to when they pump?

I listen to Barbara Streisand because she aggrevates me enough to chew bullets. I think my ultimate workout cd would be Jane Fonda singing....I really hate her.

I like having a upbeat disk for cardio & then a softer one for lifting if I go fast beat then I'll lift faster
main thing is to pick songs that you like

thrice.. gets me pumped every time. its all about personal preference tho.. ive read that individuals can handle higher workloads when listening to music that builds in tempo from slow to fast, rather than just a consistently fast beat.

lol charlie......try backstreet boys for that purpose...n-sync should work also....long gone after year in limelight...after listening to them you can see why....
I like very energetic and intense songs....if i ever bring a player....I listen to Tupac, Metallica, 50 cent, Eminem....usually 2pac tho....I need all the intensity I can gather on 1 rep lifts I do very often...lol.....

fuck ya! Thrice is the shit. And glassjaw and nonpoint.
If you like good music that has nothing to do with Barbra Striesan or whatever,I play in a band and I just started our website, check it out and keep in mind that it's new.
If anyone lives around San Francisco, CA were playing shows soon.

i love to work out to club flys/black flys 2, it is a great compilation cd including plastic dreams and renegade master as some highlights (early 90's trance, beat) it kicks!! also the best of trance volume 1 is awesome, insomnia, somebody answer the phone,9:am til i come. and total dance 2,i got it at wherehouse records, it is just super pumping. i would greatly reccomend all of these, i am always "dancing" my ass off on the elliptical!!
