Hello I am a freshman in college and over the last two semesters I have put on some weight. I really would like to lose this weight. I have been working out and following the plan that I got from ft. There is just one problem...it is extremely hard to eat healthy while going to college, does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks
Chauncey

Buying your food at the grocery store and not at the cafeteria is a good start.

Go down to the bottom of the page and in the search box type diet for students. Then click on the post entitled "diet for students" its a great post on how to eat healthier in college.

Try asking for a special request with the foodservice director - they will usually accomodate especially if it is a daily items (i.e. baked chicken breast every day at lunch)

I always loved the salad bar at my college
you just have to be able to say no to all of the fried food & the dessert unless there is sugar free jello
