Hello ... I have a question? First off let me say that i have been watching my food intake and doing workouts now for 2 weeks. I just started this program. Im a litte confused at all the talk about fat burner pills... Is it a good thing to help with weight loss or a bad thing?
My diet consist of either yogurt, fruit, Cottage cheese with a tomato in the morning... I switch bewteen them each morning..
For lunch I have a salad with chicken on top , sometimes i will have a tuna sandwich, I was told that a protein shake is what i should do for lunch but will this harm me?
I usually dont have snacks during the day sometimes if i do i will have fruit...
Dinner i have chicken, brown rice and a side salad... Or seafood, sometimes Meat....
I do my workouts in the morning every other day and take bike rides on the weekends with my son.
Do i need any Shakes or fat burner pills to help with the muscle gain and fat loss to help it along????
Really stuck here on what to do to help my process.. Im an currently stuck on 163lbs now for 1 week... I feel diff and my clothes fit me diff but its seems my work is not helping...
ANy advace would be appreciated
Thanks so much
Leticia

Keep doing what you are doing.
It is important to meet your calorie requirements on a daily basis. It look like you are only eating 3x a day, and that isn't enough.
You should have 2 snacks in beteween your meals. That way you eat every 2-3 hrs and keep your metabolism steady. Don't substitute a protein supplement for a meal. Use protein to "supplement" as it is referred to.
What you might want is a meal replacement (MRP) to have as a quick snack which will give you more protein and other nutrients.
And as for the fat burners, I would recomend you to save your hard earned money. Advertising has us coming and going.
You might want to try drinking green tea too help you along also.
Good luck.

Yeah, really and truly 99% of the "fat burners" really do nothing. Though the placebo effect can be strong, it can also lead to a mental "dependency" that is totally unwarranted. Be careful of this. Save your money, get your diet in order, and don't look for miracle pills no matter what the media touts them as. Most of them will simply make you wallet lighter and that is all. A slow controlled weight loss is ideal, 1 lb. per week. You will have to be patient, as visually in the beginning if you are at a fairly high fat level, it will not show much, even though you are losing. Think about it, if you are in single digit fat levels, visually 1/2% will be apparent. But if you are at 25% for instance, 1% will not show, but those 1%'s will add up to a showing in time. Hope this makes a bit of sense.

The last gimmick I tried was that "TrimSpa", baby, and it cost me a bundle and not only did it do nothing, but I suddenly became worried that I may lose brain cells as it seems whatshername did. Wanting to keep what little intelligence I have, I did not buy another pack. That was before FT, now I rely on good sense, proper nutrition and exercise - try that - it is cheaper, much more fulfilling and the weight you lose will not be in your pocketbook!
