Ok, I just started my program Monday, and I do not think 1-2 excersizes a day is enough, so I am adding 4-5 of them for every day, is this ok, or is the 1-2 thing better? Also what do you think of mizing alittle of the Creatine Monohydrate in with the Protein, please reply.

Okey if I understand right then you're going to do 6-7 different exercises daily. For one muscle group?
In my opinion you should rather concentrate of doing the exercises right (and take heavy) and then do max 3-4 exercise for each muscle group (and 3-4 sets each -WITHOUT counting the warm up one...).

I see no hinder of taking your creatine with the proteins.

If your form is good, you shouldn't be able to more than
1-2 per day. I could probably push myself to do four, but that's tough. What were your program elections?

I think that 2 exercises are not enough per workout!2 exercises per muscle group are enough thow!Concentrate on form and giving everything to your last set to get max hypertrophy!Supersetting the same muscle is good to as it will hit the same muscle in a different way!And giving it a different pump.

Ok, let me re-phrase that, Say on shoulder day all it gives me is Lateral Raises.. Ok, I SERIOUSLY do not find that enough.. ANother Example on Chest day all it gives me is Machine Flys.. SO theres 2 days where I just hit 1 excersise a day. Even on Bicept/Tricepr day I only get Standing Barbell Curls, and Lying Tricept extentions...
The Ironic thing is on Back day I get 5 Excersises... and I cant stand doing back..

Cainsands. I just took the 8 week program not the 12 week Mass Program

What are you talking about Scott? At any rate, if you perform the exercises properly there is no need to go that high, but feel free to add more exercises, you are the only one who knows how your body is feeling after training.
Good Luck

I personally just don't agree with the layout of the programs listed for gaining mass. I suggest you try MAX OT program, u can sign up at www.ast-ss.com.

I love people that talk smack, but don't have pics. Anyway Shocker, you didn't answer my question. If you don't say what you chose, (Beginner, 8 week mass, etc) This is kinda vital info.

Sounds like you're on the beginner mass program. Maybe you should change your status to intermediate or advanced. That way, you'll get at least 2 exercises per muscle group.

Good luck!

Absolutely. I think most people would be questioning this program unless they had never been in a gym before. To each their own (in reference to Scott), but I recommend you change your status and give the new ft mass program a shot before scrapping it. I only say this because I have personally had such awesome results. I MUST ASSUAGE EVERYONE TO STAY!!

Loving the word "assuage."
I would still like to know about scotts results and what such a program looks like, if only to satisfy my own curiousity.
And on a completely unrelated note, Cain, I got your e-mail, if I can dig out some of my old poems, I'll try to send them to you.

my 12 week advanced program kicks ass. 9th week and lovin the results. That site is pretty good Scott, it has MAD info I wills earch it for a couple days and see what it all has to offer. But them seem to push products instead of helping on a personal level like ft.

Thanks Lumina, I was wondering. As far as all the different programs that are out there, alot of different people like different things, but I agree with Lumina. What kind of results did you get?

Scotthall, I signed up at the site you suggested (just to look at the program) but still waiting to receive a username and password! If I have to wait this long just to get that, I'm wondering how much "better" that program is as you have claimed? And, what kind of results have you gotten? Have you "actually" done both programs? If not, stop selling a program that takes days just to enter the site. Also, I'm sure AST will now send me spam since I've provided them my e-mail address during signup.

I have done the same thing rpacheo. I did finally get my login info today, but it is late and I am sleepy and I didn't feel like going through the "pages" of stuff they want you to read as part of your course. I'll let you know what else is in there tomorrow if I get a chance, but by then you'll probably have your own login. Here here on the spam!

Qualters you are right, they do push their products a lot which gets kind of old, but I think there is still a ton of good information with the question and answer section and Jeffs daily training journal. It also doesn't try and scare you with some juiced up psycho in a dark basement for main picture heh.

I read some (that's a ton of reading) of the beginning pages before actually looking at the workout. Okay...I don't see anything special (or different) about this program that ft doesn't already do!!! All of the principles they highlight IS THE SAME!!!

I signed up and WOW there is a lot of jargon, they need to cut to the chase. I didnt even have the patients to look at the work out they suggest. I will look at it more extensive later.

Shocker, it's not about the number of exercises but really how you do them! If they are done correctly, you won't be able to add to them much at all! If you signed up and looked at the other program, it has the same exercises (maybe adding 1 or 2 more) but has you doing less sets.

It depends on how far along you are at weight lifting. If you are just beginning, stick with the program ft gave you and put everything you have mentally and physically into the workout. If you are more advanced, then I agree that it isn't enough. Use your judgement. There's a fine line between working a bodypart to failure, and overtraining.
