Silly question

Deby, I don't remember seeing special instructions in any of the programs I've done. The progream should give you a more intense workout on the day you work the area. I also noticed that whatever part I specified was worked only once a week. This allows for rest and therefor muscle growth. You should definitely see squats and lunges though. Enjoy the pain. It will pass I promise!!!

I just signed up for the Fitness Plan (no longer working out with a trainer -- been sick and unable to do anything and I have gained!!!). I signed up the the "Glutes" special program along with the regular program. I found all of the regular but cannot find the special program instructions. Help, please!

It's likely at the bottom of the page...

This what I thought! But it was not on the first page that shows the weeks for workout. So I went into each day for the week but there is nothing there either. :(

Hmmm... weird... It should be at the bottom of the main page of your exercises...

The special exercises should be located with another button on the page that shows your weeks (I believe)...

Deby, i don't know that this will work for sure but....I have gotten workouts that I didn't like the splits or days from the FT programs. I just kept reseting the inputs over and over until they changed to my liking. You have to do that 6 step setup thing over and over but it's worked for me. May be worth a shot.

Legs and calves are the closest there is! I have really searched for the special program. It is shown on my "summary" page but I cannot find the actually exercises. I would think there should be some lunges and squats!

Nothing is working. I click on Fitness Plan and that takes me to the page where you can make "changes". That page shows my setup and the Thigh/Glutes program, but you can only change from there. Then I click on Your Exercis Plan, that takes me to the "week" list. There is nothing on that page for the Thigh/Glutes. I open View Week and there is nothing in there either, except for the week. Who can I contact for technical support?

Thanks Charlie! I am really ready to get back into this. I know it worked before for me but it is being very stubborn this time.

On the basic membership it's separate... I looked around for the ab program for a while too when I first joined... this could be a tech problem... computers... ack...

Post what your leg days are. Usually it is just built in and does not show it as an extra program. It will just give you more exercises/reps/sets. If you want, email me here.

Carivan, sorry, I have been very busy at work so I have not been on here. My first week has 1 day of legs - Leg Extensions, Machine Leg Curls and Standing Calf Raises; second week 1 day of legs SAME except Seated Calf Raises instead of Standing. Thanks for your help everyone!

Seems like it has it built in, normally it would just give sets of legs. The program will alternate different routines each week.

deby - Are you set up as a beginner? I just logged into my free account, which is set as intermediate, and I reset my plan to simply target thighs/glutes. I received a workout with Front Squats, Leg Extensions, and Machine Leg Curls. They started out with higher reps than my normal plan does.

I think that your glutes/thigh workout is included in the program with no extra buttons to push and no "extra" workout involved. The thighs and glutes are connected and will workout together, for the most part. If you want a more intense workout and feel capable, you can try upping your level to "intermediate".

Hope this helps.

I am on advanced weight loss and definition. I added on the shoulders program and like yourself, shoulders are only worked once a week. That said, all of my exercises are once a week, exept abs and calves which get hit twice. BTW, I am training everyday. Charlie is right on, they need to rest, and are stronger that way.

I am setup as intermediate on the "free" program but I know that 1 day per week with only those 3 exercises on that day is not enough to reshape my glutes and thigs

Deby, it may be. Rest is when muscle grows. If they are hit hard enough they may need 7 days rest.
