Ok...Sorry about any spelling error but I am at work. I am 5'6" and wiegh 200lbs.(OUCH!!!)Well the problem lies in that I need to lose about 50 lbs. or so to be at my best wieght. I know that it will take time to do so in a healthy way.My big problem is that I have to lose 10-15lbs in 5 weeks tops. I would really like to knwo if this is possible and if so how and is it dangerous? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Also with my weight I must factor in that I am very endowed in the chest area and in the derrier area. I always have been, actually since I hit puberty. My biggest problem are my thighs and love handles. Anyways I know there is no such thing as spot training but I would love some ideas as to how the heck I am going to get down to 185-190 range in 5 weeks. Thank you in advance for any help or suggestions.

Welcome to FT!
You've come to the right place for help... lots of knowledge here...
Ten to 15 pounds might be possible. The average weight lost is about a pound to a pound a half a week... you'll likely lose more in the beginning due to water loss...
First off, adjust your diet to eat better, healthier foods. Add in the exercise and you'll reach your goals. Muscle burns calories...
Good luck!

Up to 2 lbs. per week is acceptible. So in your alloted timeframe, you should indeed have no problem if you are strict. As Tim says, you will more than likely lose much more in the first 7 days. It is not untypical to lose 5-7 lbs. of waterweight the first week, especially if you are going low carb.(I am not recommending this, just mentioning it). Simply cleaning up your diet and adjusting your calorie range will give you the results you desire. Throw in resistance training and cardio and you will easily be on your way.
