For some reason ever 2 to 3 weeks, i'll have a series of days usualy 1 somtimes 2 that no matter what I eat and how much, I can't get satisfied, I fight it and fight it and no mater what i eat nothing satisfies it.
A typical day fo me 530 am breakfast 3 egg omelete with no fat cheese, 2 peices whole whaet toast 3 slices of low fat bacon glass milk maybe (1%),mutli vitamen 830am tuna, with light dressing on it 1130am some sort of meat( chicken, lean pork, beef, 2 veggies 330-400( soon as I get home) 2 or 3 spoon fulls peanut butter, BIg galss milk, creatine.... work out 530- 600 protein drink with creatine 630 700 dinner some sort of meat 2 veggies 900 1/3 protein shake, with milk and yougert mixed( non fat) 1200-100am get up grink rest of protein shake 530 get up eat breakfast start over I eat constantly even in the middle of night, I don't se how i'm not getting what I need! like I said this isn't somthing that happens all the time, and I do give my self one cheat meal a week. for instance fo r acheat meal i'll have 3 extra long cheese coneys, large onions rings, milk shake, tater tots......( this is at lunch by the way) so I can burn it off lol......... now this will kill the cravings, junk food seems to kill the cravings, and i'm "full" but I hate it lol I hate eating junk food it tears my stomche up, I don't gain weight or anything. But my mom and myself is tired of trying to feel me up lol, I keep portion sizes in conjunction with how much I work out, or don't work out, but i'm stuck? does this happen to you guys? -------------- .......adversity causes some to break, but others to break records! ......minds are not vessles to be filled, but fires to be enlightened ......Confucious once said ,DO NOT play leap frog with a unicorn |

Big andrew. I have problems staying on a solid eating plan. I can do great if I am on a schedule for the day, so during the week I am usually fine. When the weekend comes, my diet is usually shot. I can't help it man, I love food. I just work out hard and try to mantain a good physique. I suppose if I really put my mind to it, I could eat clean for 6 weeks or so, but the people around me would suffer because of it, and I am not going to put my family through that. So basically, yes I have the same problems bro. I feel ya.-------------- This message has been approved by the moderators. If you have a problem with it please contact Asimmer. |

"But my mom and myself is tired of trying to feel me up lol,"
I'll bet you meant fill you up, eh?! I had to raz ya a bit! It happens to me just like how you explained, except I have only eaten a cheat meal about three times since I started this challenge thing, but some days I run around the house and cannot get full - today is unfortunately one of them, but I just find near zero calorie things and pray it will take care of the "need", often it doesn't and I go to bed starved. I try my best to ignore them, though I often wonder if that means I am lacking in something I need - though most likely it is my body's attempt to trick me into eating those naughty carbs, as like you said, when I have had those cheat meals, it has ended the problem immediately for that day, anyway. -------------- Veda MISERY IS OPTIONAL ***When you are up to your ears in trouble, try using the part that is not submerged. ***The difference between a dream and a goal is a plan. I find that those naughty carbs only fill me up for a certain amount of time. Then, I either get a headache or want something else that is a naughty carb. That will be one vicious cycle that I'll be GLAD to be RID of!!!
I don't know what to tell you Andrew, but I do hope that you are able to find out what helps soon. Good luck!! -------------- Do just once what others say you can't do, and you will never pay attention to their limitations again. James R. Cook |

Yep Andrew,
I have one of those days every two weeks or so. Worst days of my life when they hit. I just blame it on being female and do the best I can! I guess that's something you can't do though.  I can't offer any advice on how to beat it, because most of the time I cave in. I do find that the days it hits is when I don't have anything planned for the day, so most likely Im feeling bored, even though there is so much to do. I hope you find a way to beat it, and if you do can you let me know? Donna |

it happens to me also. I get hungry every 2-3hours on the clock. But my mom only makes 2-3 meals a day and tells me to just eat big meals, but I know better. So I have about 3 or 4 meals throughout the day that I have to raid the kitchen or i'm left with no choice but fast food. I also work alot so my stomach is growling at least 2 twice a day. But i've gotten used to can tune, sandwiches and "healthy" fast food items, till i learn to cook :)-------------- Physical fitness is not only one of the most important keys to a healthy body, it is the basis of dynamic and creative intellectual activity. oscarg@freetrainers.com » oscarg.tk » 347804965@ICQ |

andrew. I know exactly what you mean. I've been eating clean for about two weeks now and I'm seeing great results, even better energy. But the thing is, even though the hunger pangs aren't there, your mind suddenly decides:: "I want a donut, the gooey chocolatey one filled with disgustingly rich sugars. NOW." Then that just starts niggling at me the whole day. what I do is I buy some gelatin yogurt cups that are about 30 calories each stay away from the damned donut . I'd eat one to stave off the craving and then I immerse myself at work until it's time to eat. Oh and I keep thinking:
"DONUT = wrinkly, cellulite-infested thighs and floppy arms" Vanity i tell you. it works all the time. -------------- The best victories are won not by adversity and brute force. Learn the enemy and overcome it. -cupcake- |

I fight it cup cake.......howerver I eventually give in,because somtimes I can't sleep and when I do its goes away for like 3 or 4 weeks an di'm not hugry for the food again. I read somewhere I think in FLEX that thiese cravings usualy mean your deficent in somthing, usually salt, which makes since since IU don't salt my foods any .-------------- .......adversity causes some to break, but others to break records! ......minds are not vessles to be filled, but fires to be enlightened ......Confucious once said ,DO NOT play leap frog with a unicorn |

that might be true. also, I think that there are times when you get depressed that your body automatically dictates that you want pasta, or a high carb/sugar fix. serotonin levels. I also don't use any salt in any of my food, I don't use any sugars also, except what's latent in the things I already eat, like the protein stuff and the bread.
but oh well...sacrifices must be made. I'm right there with ya andrew. we'll make it. -------------- The best victories are won not by adversity and brute force. Learn the enemy and overcome it. -cupcake- |

Andrew - i am seeing not a lot of good carbs in your diet, add some brown rice and lots more vegetables, sweet poataoes, green beans, broccoli, cauliflower, eat'em up! Add a little olive oil and eat em!!!!!! You need to be full, not just have a little protein and a vegetable.
Oatmeal will hold you longer than toast, and you could also put it in your shakes. Pre-workout you need more complex carbs. I think the answer is that you are not eating enough calories. How many calories do you average daily? -------------- \"Achieving worthwhile goals requires a consistent investment of time and effort on your part....The rewards you receive will be in direct proportion to the consistent effort you put forth.\" Brian Johnston, The Power of The Champions |
